Dear Friends Pranam
This time we will be going by road and returning by road.
- The additional highlight is that we will be visiting Charan Sparsh i.e from Dirapuk a 5 hr trek to Charan Sparsh which at the base of Kailash North Face. It is the closest we can go while doing the parikrama. This route has been opened only since 2018 so lets take the opportunity.
- Since 2018 June, Chinese authorities do not allow to take a dip in the lake. You can take bath with bucket & water on the shore which is provided by the sherpas . The rule may change this year by grace of authorities. We will find out when the season starts.
- Havan will be performed on the banks of Lake Manasarovar weather permitting.
- Every morning & evening Bhajan, Kirtan & Satsang on a Upanishad or some other sublime text. We contemplated on Atma Bodha (2018), Kaivalya Upanishad (2018), Ashtavakra Gita (2017), Aparoksha Anubhuti i.e Direct Experience (2014), Jeevanmuktananda Lahiri i.e Song of Liberation (2012) & Atma Bodha i.e Self Knowing (2002) • We will Exclusively be a PRIVATE GROUP and not be part of a big group..
- We will try and do group booking for flights • We are keeping an extra day just in case there are landslides and if we are not able to reach Katmandu in time for flight therefore we will depart on 6th Sept 2023 from Katmandu.
- Please read all the way to the bottom for all information. We drive from Kathmandu to Kerung via Syabrubesi. It is a very scenic drive with beautiful landscapes and close view of Ganesh Himal. Next halt will be at Dongba before reaching Manasarovar, the most beautiful and peaceful place incomparable to rest of the places on this planet. Drive from Kerung to Manasarovar offers you different type of landscapes in Tibet, which is also called the roof of the world. We take “parikarma” (circumambulation) of Manasarovar by coach and of Mt. Kailash on foot. Hindus believe that a ritual bath in the sacred Manasarovar delivers a pilgrim to Brahma’s paradise, a drink of its waters relinquishes the sins of hundred life times and a single circumambulation (Kora) of Mt, Kailash wipes out the sins of a lifetime. The journey is indeed a rare opportunity and privilege for devotees who have been dreaming to be close to the home of the Gods.
